**[Good News]** Under the guidance of Professor Hsin-Chang Lo from the Product Design Department, fourth-year students Hui-Wen Chai and Yi-Yuan Lian have been awarded the 2024 Red Dot Award for Design Concept for their graduation project, “Hilo: Shopping Assistance Device for the Visually Impaired”!

Project Title:Hilo Shopping Assistance Device for the Visually Impaired

The “Hilo: Shopping Assistance Device for the Visually Impaired” aims to enhance the shopping experience for visually impaired individuals by improving the fluidity of their shopping process. This conceptual product is designed to be easily attached to any shopping cart, making it compatible with various shopping environments. By reducing limitations on usage settings, it addresses the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals in selecting and identifying products.
