The Product Design Department’s 2024 Xiamen “Minnan Cultural Innovation Design Workshop” has yielded remarkable results in innovative design exchange!
Chair of Product Design Wan-Li Wei and Associate Professor Shaio-Chung Chan from the Product Design Department led eight third-year undergraduate and graduate students to Xiamen University of Technology from June 29 to July 7 for a nine-day academic exchange between the two institutions.
This design workshop explored the connotations and values of Minnan culture while implementing the design and development of cultural and creative products. Activities included research field trips, expert lectures, and a series of exhibitions showcasing design outcomes.
