The Master's Program of Design Management for working students was established in 2002. In 2010, these programs were combined administratively within the Department of Product Design.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"x-text e12289-17 m9hd-1r m9hd-1t m9hd-1u m9hd-1v\"><p>Most of our graduates have excellent performance in the field of product design. There are currently 11 full-time and 27 part-time faculty members in the department. Each has a master's degree or higher academic qualification and overseas experience in study, work or research.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"x-text e12289-18 m9hd-1r m9hd-1s m9hd-1t m9hd-1u\"><p>Their research publications, including journal articles, seminar papers, as well as research projects funded by the National&nbsp;Science and Technology Council&nbsp;are abundant.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"x-col e12289-19 m9hd-p m9hd-q m9hd-r m9hd-s\"><div class=\"x-text e12289-20 m9hd-1r m9hd-1t m9hd-1u m9hd-1w\"><p>In terms of research performance, we have conducted numerous individual research projects funded by the National Science and Technology Council, consistently published papers in domestic and international academic journals, produced professional publications, and actively participated in international academic conferences.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"x-text e12289-21 m9hd-1r m9hd-1t m9hd-1u m9hd-1w\"><p>The department features state-of-the-art teaching facilities that cater to a wide range of learning and practical needs. In addition to the professional classrooms shared across the college, we provide dedicated workshops equipped with advanced tools and specialized spaces for metalworking, woodworking, ceramics, spray painting, injection molding, rapid prototyping (RP), and CNC machining. Additional facilities include professional classrooms, a drawing studio, a graduation project workshop, and a 3D printing and digital manufacturing laboratory.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"x-text e12289-22 m9hd-1r m9hd-1t m9hd-1u m9hd-1w\"><p>To foster students&rsquo; growth and global competitiveness, the department regularly shares information on domestic and international design competitions. Students are actively encouraged to participate in both regional and global events, where they have consistently delivered outstanding performances. For this reason, our department puts emphasis on both theory and practice and promotes cooperative projects with companies. Teachers in the department are requested to be role models for students and should often remind them of correct ideas, and strictly require quality design work and good taste from students, so that
